today's playlist
Decided to put up an actual playable playlist (I used to post playlist all the time - what happened to me? I used to be cool...). Really digging Seeqpod's embedable player. It's had just about every song I've done a search for so far. Of note on this playlist: I heard Where Is My Mind by The Pixies for the first time in years last night and fell in love all over again. Also - for The Colonel, that's not a typo on that Pete Yorn song. That's actually Pete Yorn doing Young Folks by Pete Bjorn. Weird, huh? Enjoy. Or don't. Whatever.

You had never heard "Where Is My Mind" until last year?!?!! I guess you were too busy jammin' to DMB and Counting Crows in the 90's to seek out the blessing known as The Pixies.
Actually, that song is on my favorite album of all time, Surfer Rosa. I still find it hard to believe that the album were recorded in 1988 and released in 1989. It's a freakin' 80's album but it sounds so modern almost 20 years later.
How in the world do you read the sentence, "I heard Where Is My Mind by The Pixies for the first time in years last night" and somehow get "I heard Where Is My Mind" for the first time last year?"
Are you sure you used to teach English? Because I'm beginning to suspect you can even speak it.
Come on, you just changed the wording on that post a second ago to save yourself the embarrassment of never hearing that song until last night. Good one. Real smooth.
Oh, and I've only claim to have taught English, not to have been a good English teacher. Why do you think I went into administration?
David Bazan reminds me of the podcast we did. I miss that! We had so much fun. I just got a voice-over job w/ a company in town due to my hobby of podcasting. You never know what can happen!
