do you wanna dance video
My friend Dave and I made this video to roll behind our band playing the Ramones' version of Do You Wanna Dance at St. Awesome's this weekend. Here it is, with the Ramones track laid over it for effect:

success!
Glen totally used the phrase, "St. Awesome's" from the pulpit today. It's just a matter of time before they change the signs.

mac vs. pc: st. awesome's style
Because the world demanded another Mac vs. PC parody ad, here's the first video in a series that we're doing at St. Awesome's.
The Colonel would like you to know that in spite of playing the "PC" character he actually uses a Mac and is very hip. As a matter of fact I think he was standing in the lobby at church telling people this yesterday, just in case they thought he was playing himself.
Anyway, The Colonel did a great job with his acting (and thanks for uploading it to Vimeo) - and big kudos to Dave Cottingham for making the whole thing look so gosh-darn real. More to come in following weeks.

13 days of halloween - pumpkin patch
Every year St. Awesome's throws this big Halloween party called Pumpkin Patch. There's skits, and songs, and carnival rides, and costumes, and ponies, and hay rides, and cotton candy, and elephant ears, and just about everything else kids would want at a fall festival. Last night Sara and I headed over to the first night of the party to see the kids in their costumes. I didn't get pictures of every kid I wanted to, but here's what I made it out with:

I hate it that Harrison's picture came out so dark. Click on it for a bigger version that you can see better. Man, I know a lot of cute kids.

Here's another installment of my video series for St. Awesome's. This one features Vlad and me in the kitchen making a dish out of some imaginary fruit called a "plantain."
